Īberdolf later takes part in the Battle of King's Landing and survives. Afterwards, he takes part in the mass funeral for those who fell in the battle. He takes part in the castle's defense during the Battle of Winterfell and survives. He is disgusted upon seeing Jaime, who has come to fight for the living. Season 8ĭuring the Great War, he serves as a guard at Winterfell while the Stark and Targaryen forces prepare to fight the coming army of the dead. He is among the soldiers who witness the surprise arrival of Bran back to Winterfell, accompanied by Meera Reed.
He later hails Jon as King in the North, along with the Northern and the Vale lords. Having survived the Battle of Winterfell, Aberdolf fights in the Battle of the Bastards, serving under Jon Snow to take the North back from House Bolton. Aberdolf serves in Stannis Baratheon's army.
